When you’ve genuinely given it your all and your all just wasn’t good enough, is it alright to quit and start all over? Is it alright to just give up on what you believed was real? Is it alright to just put it behind you and forget? Is it alright to go about your life as if the time we spent never happened? Or do we embrace the moments we shared and choose which ones to remember each other by? Can we live with our circumstances and live a life where the two of us are just people that impacted each others’ lives? I hope that the moments that we shared were as genuine, passionate, caring, patiently forgiving, and loving to you as well. If not, then I gained many memories that I will cherish for my life. People say that once you’ve loved someone with all of your heart, you have nothing left to give to the person that comes into your heart next. I choose to disagree. Love is genuine, patient, caring, passionate, loyal, intimate, and timeless. I also think that love is chance. A chance meeting or introduction that sparks a genuine interest in one another. That spark catches tinder and becomes a little ember. When the winds and storms come, will that ember go out or become stronger? If that ember dies out I think that it was just another moment. If that ember grows and becomes stronger and bigger, you’re moving in the right direction. Fire will never sustain itself. It moves to feed and grow larger and more powerful. If there is no oxygen a fire will die. If a fire has nothing to feed on, likewise the fire will die. But if we provide oxygen and feed that fire, we can sustain a flame that last for eternity. That fire is love. It won’t grow on it’s own, but it takes effort, time, sacrifice, and patience.

We have a love hate relationship. I hate it when you’re here. I love it when you’re not.
